Using a hair brush as a pretend microphone, Lara would practice singing in front of the mirror when she was seven, Dreaming about the world of show business. Her love affair with the arts started when as a four year old she saw her first stage production. The show finished but she refused to leave the theatre, Sitting transfixed with the magic.

her experience has been diverse, Starting with the lamb in Charloot's Web, A kidz for kidz production, Singing and danceing in Babes in Toyland for people's playhouse and the coveted role of young eponine in Les Miserables, In cameron Mackintosh's 10th anniverary presention. She has played the lead in number of school productions, including phantom Of The Toll Booth and her favourite subjects are not surprisingly Drama and English.

Since the first series of The Saddle Club aired, Lara is now a known face witch causes quite a commotion when young fans recognise her at the local roller skating rink and at horse shows. Her acceptance of this is very professioal. "it's easy to be nice to your fans becuse they are so happy to see someone they know from Television; You are like a friend to them becuse they like your charater so much. I try to be just myself when i talk to them becuse it's silly not to be natural," Lara says

sports play a big part in Lara's life. As well as horse-riding, she has her bronze medallion at surf life saving, is good at cross country running and sails most weekends with her father, As well as having her own sail boat. soccer has been crossed off the list since Lara nearly broke her nose in a skirmish and wiser heads prevailed, banning it until filming of The Saddle Club has ended

Lara learns german and is a member of the school choir. An animal lover, she has two dogs Elvis and Priscilla, A guinea pig and gladiator the cat. Visual art is a strong interest and her painting of britney spears is hung at school. Lara enjoys the support of her school friends with her acting firays. "At first some of the girls may have been a little jealous but then they realised that this is my dream; they will all have their own dreams but this is mine," she explainsw.

"i like Lisa. she dose a lot in her life and i do to. She is a bit nervous of her mother who is too controlling and she dosn't likr her sister very much, becuse her sister can be a bit annoying. i think Lisa makes friends easily but sometimes she feels a bit stressed."
